Updates to our Public API

Comments

Full read/write support for comments is now available through the API. You can list the comments on a candidate profile, add new ones, and edit or delete existing comments — handy if you're syncing feedback with another tool or building your own review workflow on top of Homerun.

Application answers

You can now retrieve the questions configured for a vacancy along with the answers submitted by candidates, including any files they've uploaded. Application answers can also be submitted through the API, so custom application forms or import flows can send candidate responses straight to Homerun.

Application confirmation emails

Building your own application form or a custom intake flow? You can now trigger the same confirmation email that's normally sent when someone applies through Homerun's application form, directly from the API.

Move candidates between stages

Every hiring stage now has a stable ID. That means you can look up a job's stages and move candidates through your pipeline programmatically — useful for automations that advance candidates based on actions taken elsewhere in your stack.

Salary on vacancies

Vacancy data returned by the API now includes the salary indication configured in Homerun, with the range, currency, and period included — useful for job boards, career pages, or any integration that needs to display or process compensation data.

Traffic source on candidates

Alongside the regular source, candidate records now include the campaign or channel they came through, whenever Homerun has detected one. That gives you more granular attribution data to pull into your reporting or analytics tools.

Data retention period

You can now set how long candidate data should be kept, directly through the API — one more way to manage compliance and data as part of your existing workflows.
