What is a Digital Designer? A Digital Designer creates visual concepts – using computer software or by hand – to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate their target audience. A Digital Designer will typically work on websites, apps and marketing assets. In many cases, Digital Designers work closely with the marketing or advertising team to create visuals that align with the brand identity. They tend to be creative types with experience in visual arts or graphic design. A Digital Designer's role might also extend to motion design, user interface design and user experience design.
